Motru municipality will have a new leisure complex under Regio - Regional Operational Programme

 | Photo gallery |Today, 20 February 2012, Razvan Murgeanu, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism, signed the financing contract for planning the "Strand" leisure area in the municipality of Motru (Gorj county), under the Regional Operational Programme - Regio. Under the project ”Planning the `Strand` leisure area in Motru Municipality”, there will be built a complex of sports grounds, a swimming pool for adults and one for children, a play area for children, beach, green spaces, kiosks, an administrative building and a parking lot. 12 new jobs will be created and the number of tourists in the area is expected to increase from 840 to 1,800 per year, while the number of overnight stays will increase from 240 to 500 per year. The whole value of the project, which will run over 18 months, is 6,691,804.16 lei, of which the amount of non-reimbursable financing is 2,322,420.50 lei. |
