Romania-Ukraine-Moldova Programme: 1060 conceptual notes submitted within second call for proposals
Tuesday, 14 February 2012|
The second call for proposals for the Romania-Ukraine-Moldova Programme, whose deadline was 30 January, enjoyed great interest among the potential beneficiaries,1060 concept notes (the A part of the financing application) having been submitted in the fields of economic and social development, border infrastructure, emergencies, and "people to people". In the next period, an evaluation committee composed of representatives of the three countries will evaluate the documentation submitted and will select, based on scores obtained, the projects for which complete applications will be required. The list of selected concept notes will be limited to projects whose total budgets fall within twice the budget available for this call (approximately 52.3 million euros). In the next stage, the evaluation committee will evaluate the projects for which complete applications were required, and the selection process will continue with the verification of documents demonstrating eligibility of applicant and partners. The whole process is watched by the Joint Managing Authority (which ensures its correctness and the compliance with the procedures and principles governing the programme) and supervised by the Joint Monitoring Committee (which approves the list of selected projects). After completing these steps, the list of projects selected for financing and the reserve list will be checked by the European Commission, then the grant contracts will be signed. A detailed description of the evaluation and selection procedure for the second call for proposals is available on the programme website www.ro-u-md.net program, under the section Calls for proposals. |
