CONTEXT

The fields of activity of the MRDT are very diverse. The communication activities focus on the following programmes and projects:

• Regional Operational Programme 2007 - 2013
• European territorial cooperation programmes for the period 2007-2013: Romania-Bulgaria, Hungary-Romania, South-East Europe (SEE), INTERREG IVC, URBACT - dedicated to the cooperation between cities of the European Union, ESPON 2013 - studies in THE FIELD OF spatial planning, INTERACT II - supporting the structures involved in the management of the European Territorial Cooperation programmes
• Territorial cooperation programmes at EU external borders in the period 2007-2013: Romania-Serbia, Black Sea, Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova, Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine
• PHARE - Economic and Social Cohesion (ESC) and PHARE - Cross-border and trans-national cooperation (CBC)
• Policy of planning and equipping the national territory with public works:
  • energy efficiency programmes: Programme for the thermal rehabilitation of the dwellings built in the period 1950-1990
  • rural infrastructure programmes: Programme for paving, rehabilitation, modernisation and / or asphalting classified roads of local interest and water supply for villages, Governmental programme on supplying water to villages, Programme for the development of infrastructure and sports facilities in the rural areas, Program for the rehabilitation of water supply systems, sewerage systems, water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants
  • social-cultural and sports programmes: Programme for construction of sports halls, Programme for the retrofit and rehabilitation of sports halls, Programme for swimming pools, Programme for the design and construction of buildings for cultural establishments of public use, in the rural and small urban environment, Programme for rehabilitating, modernising cultural infrastructure and equipping cultural establishments in the small urban area
  • housing programmes: Programme for building rental housing for young people, Programme for mortgage-financed housing, Programme supporting the construction of private housing, Programme for construction of social housing, Programme for construction of social housing for tenants evicted from nationalised houses, Programme for construction of necessity housing, Programme of rehabilitating housing blocks situated in localities in disfavoured areas, Programme for finalising the housing blocks started before 1989, Programme on granting state premiums on collective saving and lending
  • seismic risk prevention programmes: Programme for the design and execution of retrofit works on multi-storey residential buildings, assigned to seismic risk class I (red dots buildings), Programme of first-emergency intervention in vulnerable buildings presenting a public danger, Programme for retrofitting public buildings  - component B: seismic risk mitigation
  • Strategic Concept of Territorial Development - Romania 2030 and the national, regional and local spatial planning.
